Best Way to Put a Band-Aid on Your Finger

Bandage on your finger keeps slipping or making your finger stiff? Don’t wrap it the normal way.

Steps:

  1. Cut a small slit in the middle section on both the left and right sides of the bandage.
  2. Place the pad over the cut, then crisscross the flaps around your finger instead of wrapping them straight.

Why this works?

This works because fingers are curved and constantly bending. A straight wrap fights against the joint, so it gets tight, stiff, or slides off. The crisscross shape follows the finger’s movement better, keeps the pad in place, and lets you bend your finger more naturally.
