Kids drew crayon on the wall? Don’t panic and don’t start scrubbing aggressively. That can damage the paint and make the stain worse.
Use a hairdryer on low or medium heat and warm the crayon marks for a few seconds. Once the wax softens, wipe it gently with a clean cloth or paper towel. Repeat if needed until the marks come off.
This works because crayons are made mostly of wax. Heat softens the wax, making it easier to lift from the wall instead of forcing it off with pressure. Less scrubbing. Less damage. Less parenting nightmare.
